Central Louisiana Human Services District (CLHSD) provides behavioral health (substance use disorders and mental illness) services in eight parishes including Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon, and Winn in Central Louisiana. CLHSD delivers mental health care including individual and group therapy for mental health, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and medication management for children and adults at our four Caring Choices Clinics in Alexandria, Leesville, Marksville, and Jonesville. CLHSD also offers substance use treatment for adults at these four clinics, including HIV and TB testing. Problem Gambling and Tobacco Cessation services are also available. CLHSD accepts insurance plans (Medicaid, Medicare, BCBS, Humana, etc.) and still provides services to individuals who have no insurance or cannot afford to pay for services based on their income.
