Ms. Rebecca Craig serves as the Executive Director of CLHSD. She has over 27 years of behavioral health care experience. During her career, Mrs. Craig has worked at the Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System providing direct care to clients, Pinecrest Supports and Services Center providing behavior management, and CLHSD as Deputy Director and Interim Executive Director providing direct care to clients, administrative oversight to the clinics, and responsibility for all aspects of the district operations. Mrs. Craig obtained her Bachelor’s from LSU and her Master’s from Southeastern in Psychology.

Misty Dezendorf serves as the Deputy Director of Intellectual Disabilities services and is responsible for overseeing the provision of those services. She has 20 years of experience working with this population. Her career began at Pinecrest Supports and Services Center, where she completed psychological evaluations, conducted functional assessments, developed behavioral intervention plans, trained staff, and supervised Behavior Shaping Specialists. This work was continued with the Central Louisiana Community Support Team, where she led a team of professionals whose focus was to provide in-home behavioral supports to help people remain successful in a community setting. From there, Mrs. Dezendorf worked with the state’s Programmatic Unit, where she supervised individuals in the northern half of the state, and worked with local Intermediate Care Facilities to enhance policies and procedures and ensure person-centered treatment of their consumers. Mrs. Dezendorf received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern State University, where she later taught psychology and behavioral statistics classes. Among her professional accomplishments, she has also been published in the Journal of Instructional Psychology. 
 

Ms. Chenevert serves as the Clinic Manager of our behavioral health clinic, Caring Choices of Pineville and Caring Choice Jonesville.  She is responsible for overseeing the Pineville and Jonesville Clinic operations. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana Tech, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grambling State University and was Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in 1997.   Mrs. Chenevert has worked in the field for more than 30 years, having worked as a Medical Social Worker, Job Coach, Therapist, Social Services Supervisor, Acute Unit Manager, and Manager of the behavioral health clinic.

Ms. Cannella serves as the Director of Compliance and is responsible for supervising and implementing the District Compliance Program.  The compliance program includes application and adherence to state and federal laws and regulations that support healthcare funding, programming, licensing, and accreditation of District activities.  She has worked clinically and administratively in the behavioral health field for over 35 years in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings.  Mrs. Cannella received her Bachelor’s and Master’s from Northeast Louisiana University. She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor since 1994 and a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor since 2003.

Ms. Hurt serves as the Director of Human Resources. She is responsible for all Human Resources related issues as it relates to CLHSD policy and procedures, State Civil Service rules, and Federal guidelines. She has worked in the Behavioral Health field since 2002 including Drug Court, inpatient, and outpatient. Prior to this role, she was the HR Analyst/Specialist for CLHSD.
