ABOUT US
We believe that each individual in our community should have at their disposal the resources and tools to develop a healthy, enjoyable life. Our Mobile Crisis Team is here to bridge the gaps by connecting you to the resources and services available in our communities.

THE GOAL 
Our Team goal is to improve engagement throughout the community, decrease substance use, reduce relapse, work collaboratively with community partners, decrease admissions to hospitals, divert individuals from unnecerssary incarcerations, and improve social functioning and stability in the lives of our service users and their families.

WHAT WE OFFER
The Mobile Crisis Team provides services primarily to individuals with, or at risk for, Substance Use Disorder. Our Team also provides outreach services, including education about using the Mobile Crisis Team, mobile peer recovery services, recovery coaching, crisis intervention, dispensing Narcan kits, and distributing other material resources throughout the community. The Team works with service providers in the community to assist with individual and group counseling, medical care, educational/vocational services, etc.

  • Individuals who feel hopeless and helpless and need to be connected to resources for support

Q: When is the mobile crisis team available?
A: The Mobile Crisis Team is available 24 hours a day.

Q: Does the Mobile Crisis Team provide transportation?
A: The Team does not provide transportation. However, we can assist in identifying transportation resources.

Q: Where can I meet the Team?
A: The Mobile Crisis Team will repsond to a number of community settings, including private homes, hospitals, jails, community service providers, etc.

Q: What areas do you serve?
A: We serve the following 8 parishes: Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon, and Winn.
